Before the virus changed the world, Sonya and I were scheduled to tour Northern Spain to see cave drawings left behind by Neanderthals and others. Hopefully, that will be on next year’s agenda.

Instead, we spent the summer in Westcliffe, Colorado at our cabin in the Sangre de Christo mountains. We kept busy clearing dead wood and moving rocks and enjoying the wildlife. At 9,000 feet, the air was cool and clean. Oxygen seemed scarce sometimes but it was a joy to be there.
